Subscription Terms, Cancellation & Refunds
Last updated June 3, 2026. This policy explains how FI Investment Tracker subscriptions are billed, how they renew, how to cancel, and when a refund or credit applies.
Before the fine print, two things in your favor.
FI Investment Tracker is local-first: your portfolio data never leaves your machine. Evaluating the product puts none of your member or investment data at risk — there's nothing for us to hold, lose, or expose.
And if a genuine, verified defect ever stops you from using what you paid for and we can't resolve it, we make it right with a refund or credit. You're not locked into software that doesn't work. The policy below covers the rest — how billing, renewal, and cancellation work — so there are no surprises.
Subscription terms
- Annual (12-month term). Billed once, in advance, at the annual rate — our best price. Your subscription runs for a 12-month term and renews automatically for successive 12-month terms unless you cancel.
- Monthly. Billed in advance each month at the monthly rate, which is higher than the annualized rate in exchange for month-to-month flexibility. Renews automatically each month unless you cancel.
Automatic renewal
Every plan renews automatically at the then-current price for the plan and term you chose, until you cancel. The price, billing interval, and renewal are shown at checkout, and you confirm them before paying.
Cancellation — anytime, self-serve
Cancel whenever you like from your billing portal.
- Monthly: cancelling stops billing at the end of your current month; you keep access until then.
- Annual: cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access through the end of your current 12-month term. Annual terms are a commitment and are not pro-rated.
Refunds
We don't refund unused time, change of mind, or an accidental renewal. We will make it right — a refund or credit — only where a genuine, verified defect in the service prevented you from using what you paid for and we couldn't resolve it. Reach us at billing@fiinvestmenttracker.com.
Your data is never held hostage
Your investment data stays in your environment. Cancelling only stops paid workflows after your term and grace period end — your data remains yours and exportable.
